Control your inverter smarter – a fully automated solution that works for you.

Qilowatt offers a solution that makes inverter and battery management automatic and profitable. You can stop selling to the grid when the price isn’t favorable, charge the batteries at the cheapest times, and sell electricity precisely when the price is highest. If you wish, you can also connect the batteries to the flexibility market – this way you earn income from balancing the grid without any extra effort.

Modbus R2 – small device, big impact

At the heart of our system is Modbus R2 – a smart device operating on WiFi that connects to your inverter via Modbus RTU (RS485). It receives all the necessary information from the inverter and directs the energy flow so that storage and consumption always take place at the optimal moment.

Unique extra feature: 2 built-in relays

Here’s a smoother version of your text in English:
The Modbus R2 device includes two control relays that can also be used to manage household electrical appliances. For example:
• Restricting the operation of heat pumps during expensive hours – save more by reserving energy for devices that cannot be controlled (such as lighting, refrigerators, computers, etc.).

• Preheating domestic hot water and heating with the SG Ready function – store cheap electricity as heat. For example, raising the temperature of water in a 200-liter boiler by 5°C means 1.1 kWh of stored energy.

Compatibility: Nibe, Thermia, Daikin, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Atlantic, Fujitsu, and many others.

Almost all household devices can be controlled.

In addition to heat pumps, Modbus R2 can also be used to control:
• Electric boilers
• Accumulation tanks
• Swimming pools
• Air conditioners
• Other high-energy-consuming devices

For example, a 1000-liter tank stores 11 kWh of energy when the temperature is raised by 10°C. With a swimming pool, you can store even more – increasing the temperature of 36 m³ of water by 1°C stores 40 kWh!

Examples of real configurations

You can define all conditions yourself. Some examples:
• Charge the batteries from the grid when the price is below €0.007/kWh, up to 95% state of charge.
• Discharge 5,000 W from the battery during the most expensive hour, keeping 50% for your own use.
• Sell the entire battery when the price rises above €0.5/kWh, keeping 10% in reserve.
• Allow the heat pump to run only during the 18 cheapest hours.
• If electricity is cheaper than €0.03/kWh and the battery is full, increase the SG Ready heat pump’s domestic hot water and heating setpoints by 15%.

Note: Although all settings are open and fully customizable for the user, you no longer need to configure every rule manually. Qilowatt Optimizer does the complex work for you — AI decides in real time the best course of action to maximize savings and revenue.
