Modbus R2 \u2013 small device, big impact<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
At the heart of our system is Modbus R2 \u2013 a smart device operating on WiFi that connects to your inverter via Modbus RTU (RS485). It receives all the necessary information from the inverter and directs the energy flow so that storage and consumption always take place at the optimal moment. <\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Modbus R2 device includes two control relays that can also be used to manage household electrical appliances. For example:
\u2022 Restricting the operation of heat pumps during expensive hours \u2013 save more by reserving energy for devices that cannot be controlled (such as lighting, refrigerators, computers, etc.).

\u2022 Preheating domestic hot water and heating with the SG Ready function \u2013 store cheap electricity as heat. For example, raising the temperature of water in a 200-liter boiler by 5\u00b0C means 1.1 kWh of stored energy.

You can define all conditions yourself. Some examples:
\u2022 Charge the batteries from the grid when the price is below \u20ac0.007\/kWh<\/strong>, up to 95%<\/strong> state of charge.
\u2022 Discharge 5,000 W<\/strong> from the battery during the most expensive hour, keeping 50%<\/strong> for your own use.
\u2022 Sell the entire battery when the price rises above \u20ac0.5\/kWh<\/strong>, keeping 10%<\/strong> in reserve.
\u2022 Allow the heat pump to run only during the 18<\/strong> cheapest hours.
\u2022 If electricity is cheaper than \u20ac0.03\/kWh<\/strong> and the battery is full, increase the SG Ready<\/strong> heat pump\u2019s domestic hot water and heating setpoints by 15%<\/strong>.
